Indianapolis ADT FAQs: cost, permits, cameras
Carmel is $10 one-time. Fishers is $30 for three years. Confirm your ZIP. Monitoring is separate from that paperwork.
How do I order ADT in Indianapolis?
Call (463) 946-0074. A specialist designs the system. SafeStreets installs. ADT monitors 24/7.
How much is ADT in Indianapolis?
Promotional packages start at $53.99/mo for ADT Secure+, then Smart+ $63.99, and Complete+ $74.99, with a $99 install on many plans. A new monitoring agreement is required. Early termination fees apply. Homeowners only.
Do I need an alarm permit?
It depends on the ZIP. Carmel: $10 one-time (City Code 4-72), assigned to the address. Fishers: $30 for three years. Indianapolis-Marion County Chapter 811 licenses alarm businesses and governs false alarms. Speedway, Beech Grove, Lawrence, and Southport have their own desks. We name yours from the ZIP.
There is a leftover keypad on the wall. Now what?
Photograph it before you pull it off the wall. Many Indianapolis resales still have a panel. We can often turn ADT back on instead of starting over. Builder leftover keypads in Carmel, Fishers, and Westfield are usually not ADT — those get replaced.
Does monitoring work when AES Indiana or the internet is out?
Yes. The system can still reach ADT if the internet or power is down. That matters during an ice storm, a summer outage, or the hours after a wind event.
Are you ADT corporate?
No. SafeStreets is an independent ADT Authorized Provider. SafeStreets sells and installs. ADT provides 24/7 professional monitoring after activation. Home Security Systems Indianapolis is the local order line.
Do you install around Indy 500 / Colts Sundays?
Yes, when the calendar is open. Race month and game days empty houses. That is a monitoring problem. Promotional offers are for homeowners, not short-term rentals. Say so on the call.
Do you cover Carmel and Greenwood from this line?
Yes. One Indianapolis order line for Marion County and the collar counties on the IN – Indianapolis map. Confirm the ZIP. Same-day or next-day is typical.
